APR 08 PIRSA NLIS Technology Field Days
PIRSA in conjunction with key manufacturers and retailers plans to hold a series of NLIS technology days in three locations around South Australia in June 2008.
The proposed locations and dates for the events are;
Tuesday 17/6/2008 Mt. Compass Area School,
Wednesday 18/6/2008 Naracoorte Town Hall,
Thursday 19/6/2008 East Gambier Sportsman’s Club
The main focus for the days is how NLIS can be used for profit and associated on farm benefits.

OCT 07 United States Department of Agriculture approves Leader RFID tag
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service today announced the approval of two new animal identification devices: a visual tag with radio frequency identification (RFID) from Leader Products and the first approved injectable transponder from Digital Angel.
